Everywhere
—————-
God is
somewhere
there
everywhere ..

in the rustle of the leaves in the trees–
Singing on a summer breeze…

Somewhere….

Sitting in your mind
Holding on to time

There…..

Pulling back sunlight
Pushing out the darkness of night

Everywhere…

Reclining in your heart
Standing at the start
Of a smile

In the curling lips which kiss
Your soul
By a friend of long agos
Your heart’s heart still knows

Within drops of rain
that shower your face
again
and again

Living inside sorrow
breathing life into tomorrow

In the print of a finger
In vocals of the singer
holding a note that lingers
in your ear
long after
the song is gone

In the footsteps of dance
balance of present past

In the stroke
of the painter’s hand
which lands
on the canvas of your mind

In the tic-tock of the clock
As the foot steps to walk
He lives

The pause between pain
He IS the refrain
He gives

The twinkle in an eye just before
We cry
He Loves

In the belly of the sun warm
Between the thunder of a storm
Above

The breath of a baby
Surrendering to maybe
Another day
Another way…..

Living inside sorrow
blowing life into tomorrow

Somewhere

There

Everywhere

To HIM
————

What I know is I know nothing

And nothing it’s self is concrete in itself.

Nothing is nothing and that IS consistent.

There is sadness AND joy abound.

tragedy AND beauty all around.

It is that which is best to keep in mind all the time.

We pray for patience

where lack of understanding prevails

when all the while heart

and

brain

cannot reconcile.

We pray for ignorance,

the inability to see change

as life will surly rearrange

itself through time.

God knows what the heart need not

know

no need to see everything

It is too much

YES

the world is a tragedy for those who feel

                          and

a comedy for those who think

Possession IS the key to all unhappiness

And so I surrender

I give up that which was never mine

That which was near only a short time

I will come to terms with life’s terms

Insha’Allah

I will accept that which it offers

Insha’Allah

I will not love less

God knows that which He takes back to Himself.

It will be one person

one thing at a time

It will rhyme by His design.

I give back to Him

To Him

I tell MY heart

Insha’Allah

Insha’Allah

  1. Very intricate an the imagery is great. I like how you personify Allah in your poetry. Allah himself tells us to look for signs of his great designs in our natural surroundings!
